Servicing HP ProLiant ML/DL/SL Servers
Course overview
This 2-day course delivers the technical information necessary to successfully service and support HP ProLiant servers. The participants can expect to gain a technical understanding of HP ProLiant ML, DL and SL servers including typical service procedures like replacing parts and updating firmware. Students will learn how to deploy ProLiant Support Pack for different operating systems and how to configure basic storage and management solutions including iLO2/iLO3 management card. Assists in preparation for the (APS) ProLiant certification exam.
Course objectives
- Servicing ProLiant ML/DL/SL Server training focuses on using service information resources, utilities, and diagnostic tools to install, configure, troubleshoot and repair ML/DL/SL products
- The student will become familiar with the technology, features, component layout, and service considerations for ML/DL/SL hardware as a foundation for the diagnostic process
- Lab exercises provide the opportunity to gain valuable hands-on experience with ML/DL products and tools. Activities include server setup, use of utilities, and installing and configuring storage options
